GEOTHERMAL PRODUCTION / RESERVOIR ENGINEER (PE-EXP/GPOPE)
Responsibilities :
Chevron is the world’s leading geothermal energy company and operates the Darajat and Salak geothermal fields in West Java. This position is for a Reservoir Engineer or Production Engineer working as part of a cross-functional team to implement surveillance programs, optimize production, design workovers and stimulation programs, prepare drilling proposals, generate production forecasts, and create long-term Asset Development Plans. Work is on complex, naturally fractured reservoirs and frequently requires innovative solutions and making improvements to specialized engineering tools. Production Engineer positions are based in Garut and Reservoir Engineer Positions are based in Jakarta. SPECIAL CONSIDERATION: Previous geothermal experience is not required. The ideal candidate will have strong fundamentals in reservoir or production engineering and the desire to apply these skills in a challenging environment while also learning specialized geothermal tools and techniques.
Qualification :
- S1 Degree (S2/Master Degree will be an advantage) Majoring Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline with PE experience
- 4 years related experience in Oil and Gas or Geothermal Industry
- Strong fundamental skills in reservoir or production engineering with an understanding of other disciplines (earth science, facilities engineering, drilling engineering, operations).
- Detailed experience with reservoir surveillance, production optimization, workover/completion design, stimulation design, reservoir modeling, economic analysis, etc.
- Familiarity with standard software applications (such as Saphir, OFM/DSS, MBAL, Prosper, GAP, PEEP, VIP, Eclipse).
- Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams, proactive in keeping team and management informed through clear written and verbal communications and presentations.
SEISMIC ACQUISITION COORDINATOR (ES-EXP/GPHS)
Responsibilities :
Jakarta-based coordinator for all seismic acquisition activities. Coordination includes interface among seismic acquisition requestor (Operating Unit customer), seismic acquisition contractor, field-based QC contractors, explosives contractor, Sumatra Geophysical Services team, and Jakarta Earth Science Operations team. This coordinator role will involve frequent trips to the operations area during acquisition. Coordination will include planning, contracting, field operations, and operations look-back phases.
Qualification :
- S1 Degree (S2/Master Degree will be an advantage) Majoring Geophysics Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of field seismic operations QC, preference given to onshore experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Health, Environment, and Safety planning, documentation, and monitoring.
- Proficient with Landmark and/or Petrel data management, seismic processing, and/or interpretation systems.
- Familiar with Oil & Gas Operations, Seismic Processing & Interpretation, Advanced Geology & Geophysics.
- Able to identify and resolve issues and problems with minimal supervision.
- Strong in exploiting technology by challenging paradigms; think expansively and evaluate multi-solutions
- Work Location: Jakarta with field visits to Riau and West Papua

PT Buma Perindahindo – We are a Group Company of General Contractor in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Maintenance Services, Logistics& Others. We look for suitable candidates who can fill the position as below:
Planner (Code : 28-PS)
Role & Responsibility:
- Perform smooth and reliable maintenance of COMPANY equipment. Contractor’s planner shall work under coordination with maintenance TAR scheduler.
- Assisting TAR Engineer in checking the incoming work requests for completeness, and interact with operations, HSE and Engineering ( under the coordination of TAR Engineer ) to assess job, condition requirements in the field before finalizing plan.
- Plan non-emergency work and schedule the planned work for specific equipment under specific correct, under coordination of TAR Planner.
- Review work priorities with concerned operation to assess backlog work, and to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Follow up on work progress to minimize variation from plan. All these activities must be under the coordination of TAR scheduler.
- Review requirements for plan shutdown, discusses details with engineers and department head and prepares consolidated work list for shutdown as well as preliminary estimates of manpower and material. All these activities must be under the coordination TAR scheduler.
- Request work approval from the authority and schedule all work based on priority automatically calculated by the MAXIMO and other specific requirements and justification.
- Allow the preparation of more time detailed 6 month schedules for specific under specific contract, and feed this information to TAR Engineer.
- Responsible for the development of the overall project planning, prepare weekly progress report to be presented to COMPANY’s site team.
- Develop and implement Project Control Procedure in term of cost and schedule.
- Responsible to estimation of material, man power, cost per work order.
- Responsible & review for completeness of work order.
- Prepare and submit required resources to TAR scheduler.
- Prepare and issue work request in conjunction with TAR scope.
- Change the work order status from planner to be ready for execution
General Requirements:
- At least 5 (five) years applicable experiences in Planning, Scheduling and Turn Around of maintenance activity for offshore/onshore, in Oil & Gas industries nor petrochemical, or refinery, or LNG plant
- Must be experienced in the use of computer programs (including MS Project and Primavera) applicable to control the resources and activities duration in civil maintenance works.
- Must have knowledge on industrial standards and practices, familiar with civil, insulation both cold and hot, coating, scaffolding and material requirement calculation.
- Must have very good estimating skill, previously have performed in an estimating role on similar project.
- At least a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering related field or construction management degree.
- Must have excellent planning and organizational abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good in English both in oral and written
- High analytical skill
- Able to work independently as well as a team
- Computer Literate in using MS office
- To be based in Papua, with rotation schedule, Preferable experience working in the Site Project
Project Leader (28-PL)
Role & Responsibility:
- Manage and execute all aspect of work including personnel management, project planning, cost control, scheduling, QA/QC planning & implementation, HSE planning, assurance and compliance, overseeing engineering and installation/Construction and coordinating any and all required support from company.
- Responsible to the Company assigned task leader for regular and timely Project Cost and Schedule reporting, Project Cost and the status and the status should be accumulated and reported weekly
- Planning, coordinating, scheduling and cost control of the project including the setting of priorities and the allocation of personnel to ensure that all required technical, engineering, cost & safety standard are fulfilled and project objectives
General Requirements:
- At least 7 years of Project Management experience, Oil & Gas Facilities experience
- At least 4 years of civil maintenance services contract management,
- At least a Bachelor of science degree in an engineering or construction management related field
- Must be national personnel.
- Must have excellent planning and organizational abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
