Proposal & Cost Control Officer

Reporting to the Proposal & Cost Control Superintendent, you will assist her to administer all proposal & tender preparation and submission to Client; to administer all correspondence hardcopy and electronic, related to the estimating and proposals; as a document control for hardcopies and soft copies of proposal and tender documents, transmittal advice, and other tasks related with proposal and tender; updating and checking tender data in ETTA, T-Drive, and responsible for uploading, copying and recording all proposal and tender documents and distribute to the tender team.

Reporting to the Admin Superintendent, this position will provide analytical and cost control support to the Commercial Manager which will provide relevant information to assist TCI in maximizing revenue and minimizing costs; understanding of effective business processes, systems and functions which will increase the value of Satui’s operations to TCI. As generally, will contribute to the ongoing success and achievement of the administration and cost control activity of Satui Mine by providing support to the Administration Superintendent, Commercial Manager and Senior Contract Administrator in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
Applicants should have a tertiary education, preferable degree holder in Business, Commerce Law or Accounting, with minimum of 5 years experience in similar senior role in Mining. The candidate should proficient in English, understand business process, excellent communicator, well organized, lateral thinker, willing to provide hands on assistance administration and project support teams and computer literacy. Having strong motivation, supportive, communicative, and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits.
SOS Analyst

Requirements for this position are minimum Diploma Degree on Mechanical Engineering Qualification or Industry Trade Qualification, and having more than 2 year experiences in similar position in Mining Industry. Others requirement for this position, applicant should have a mobile equipment technical knowledge, experience as oil analyst and good interpretation of oil element, good in reporting, information monitoring on planning/organizing. Be able to communicate should in English both verbal and written, advance computer skills in word and excel, honest, diligent, hard worker, safety and environmental oriented.

Reporting to the Corporate Service Manager, you will review and recommend changes to the security policies of projects, Jakarta and Balikpapan; recommended and manage security strategies in conjunction with the relevant Thiess Managers in event of special security problems in Thiess areas of operation; review and recommended changes to the Thiess security staff structure; assess the competency of Thiess security staff and recommended changes to relevant Thiess Managers for approval; establish a detailed training plant for security personal in conjunction with the Balikpapan Training Centre to improve the competency of Security personnel; establish and maintain relationships with the senior police, military, government and community personnel in the areas that Thiess operate; comply with applicable laws and regulations, develop and manage tactical resources and planning relating to the establishment of short and long term strategy plans; and provide strategic advice and information to senior management.
To be successful in this role you will need to have a degree in law, post graduate degree in law would be preferred or Police Academic, with minimum 6 years experience as Security Manager, ex-police or military senior officer/general and very important that you have a good networking on external – policy and government, strong leadership skills, good analytical and focus on detail; excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written; and computer literate.
