Career Opportunity & Job Vacancy for PT Adaro Indonesia – Purchasing Manager, Government Relations Support
Not later than 2 (two) weeks
PT Adaro Indonesia operates under a Coal Cooperation Agreement with the Government of Indonesia which gives it the right to mine coal within its Agreement Area in the Tanjung district of South Kalimantan Province until the year 2022 with Rights to extend by mutual agreement are available. There are three deposits within the Agreement Area which contain total coal resources of 2.8 billion tones of open cut coal characterized by extremely thick seams of up to 50 meters with relatively low overburden. We are currently seeking:
Purchasing Manager (code: PUM) (Banjarmasin – South Kalimantan)
Requirements:
- Male/ Female
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years procurement experience at a senior position.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Proficient with purchasing software concepts.
- Knowledge of business and management principles
- Exposure to strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of arithmetic, statistics, and their applications
- Willing to be located at Banjarmasin
Key responsibilities:
The company operates and maintains a fleet of vessels for the transshipment of thermal coal for Adaro and other mines to the Indonesian domestic market and the Purchasing Manager shall be responsible to source and deliver all the material essential to maintain the fleet and infrastructure at peak availability.
Government Relations Support (Code: GRS)
Requirements:
- Male / Female
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Business Administration
- Experience at least 2-3 years in the similar position
- English active
- Advance in Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Understanding of Government Regulation, esp. on Mining regulation
Job Description:
- Supporting team & program of Government Relations
- Prepare presentation, data and report of Government Relations
