Career Opportunity & Job Vacancy for Kendall Court – Investment Analyst – Kendall Court is a Singapore headquartered fund management group. Kendall Court currently manages its inaugural fund focusing on mezzanine financing and is raising its second fund. It provides long term capital for companies or project sponsors undertaking expansionary or buyout plans. Kendall Court is present in 3 locations in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta and targets direct investment opportunities in the Southeast Asia region.
Investment Analyst
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient with MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint.
- Must be proficient with accounting principles and be able to disect financial statements.
- Must be able to build financial projections, including linking the balance sheet, income statement and cashflow statement in the model.
- Must also be able to do a full blown consolidation of parent – subsidiary companies no matter how many subsidiaries there are
- Must have the ability to present information and ideas, verbally or in writing, in a coherent and simple manner
- Ability to speak and read mandarin is an advantage
Job Descriptions:
- Prepares the groundwork for investment
- Extracting data / information from relevant sources and putting them in a coherent manner for analysis
- Communicating with external analysts and other economic / business experts in order to gain a greater understanding of markets
- Assisting with the drafting of various investment related documents
- Understanding the broad contents of the various transaction / legal documents and how they fit with one another
- Assisting with various monitoring tasks on the investee companies
- Assisting in creating the Closing Bible and Monitoring Bible for each new project
- Assisting with the drafting of various marketing documents as requested
- Assisting with other specific tasks as requested by the superior
