Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience using Design Manager and/or SAP to access compatible unit data.
Core Competencies:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Economics or other related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
- Typically possesses five or more years experience performing statistical analyses.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cost modeling and process mapping.
- Demonstrated experience preparing reports and presenting recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing problem solving skills to analyze data and follow through on requests to ensure completion.
- Demonstrated experience developing templates, performing calculations, and analyzing information/data.
- Demonstrated experience performing database analyses utilizing data within Design Manager and SAP, identifying trends, and developing recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing and coordinating multiple projects within tight time constraints, while working under pressure and adjusting to changing conditions and priorities.
- Demonstrated experience producing high-quality products/documents, including accountability for the accuracy and validity of data and assumptions, as well as the integrity and timeliness of the finished project/task.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate evaluations and recommendations both orally and in writing to department and division management.
- Demonstrated experience with software including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Visio including utilizing advanced functions of software tools to perform data analyses.
- Demonstrated ability to produce group performance metrics and develop reports based on that data.

Preferences:
Knowledge of Transmission, Distribution and/or Substation design and the conversion requirements related to implementation of Design Manager and Autodesk Utility Design as a Graphical Design Tool within the master data requirements of SAP. Experience in utilizing Transmission, Distribution, and/or Substation material assemblies to perform analyses on and perform SAP compatible unit data validations, develop and maintain service level agreements, reporting criteria, and perform evaluations using databases which track design related use of material and labor compatible units within SAP.
Typical Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Manager of the Compatible Units Business Process group within Engineering & Technical Services (E&TS). The successful candidate will work/support a specific group of Compatible Unit Business Process related projects across TDBU. Successful candidate will be working in an environment of changing design standards, and working independently to produce work that can be incorporated into a larger team owned process. Typical job responsibilities will include: developing and utilizing Compatible Units policies, procedures, processes and methodologies, of moderate to complex nature, to support the development of assessments, analyses/trends, team performance, business case analysis, metrics and other operational reporting requests; leading or participating in researching internal and external data sources to collect, analyze and report a variety of Compatible Unit related statistics; developing a structured approach to analyzing a topic, extracting relevant applications, and compiling findings into summary documents & recommendations using Windows XP, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Word, Lotus Notes, Autodesk, Design Manager and SAP; developing, reviewing drafts of, and assisting with presentations to Corporate Officers, department and division management, section supervision, and other interested parties; and performing other duties as assigned.
