AEC SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT – Northwestern U.?S.?A.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The solutions consultant will work closely with IMAGINiT sales professionals and clients to enhance our existing sales and services business.? The primary responsibilities of this position are consulting, implementation and training primarily related to Autodesk-developed AEC applications.? These require the ability and willingness to:
• Determine and qualify proposed solutions to AEC industry needs.
• Effectively communicate these solutions through sales presentations and classroom instruction.
• Rapidly enhance technical skills on a continuing basis, such as mastering new software packages and version updates
• Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance to customers relative to application use.
REQUIREMENTS
• Two year college diploma or a four-year bachelor’s degree in an AEC-related discipline such as architecture, structural engineering, etc.
• 3-5 years of industry experience in technical training or professional practice.
• Expertise with Autodesk Revit Application(s).
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
• Revit MEP experience.
• Expertise with any of: Ecotect, Navisworks, eSpecs,, Green Building Studio, AutoCAD, and related applications.
HIGHLY PREFERRED
• Licensed architect and Professional Engineering candidates.
• LEED certification candidates (LEED certification is a developmental requirement of the position)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• Up to 60%? travel is required (vast majority is mid-week travel; weekend stays are extremely rare)
• Candidates will need to travel throughout the U.?S.? and Canada, though efforts will be primarily focused in the U.?S.? Northwest and Western Canada.
