System Engineer, C#.Net, CAD, GIS Electric Utility
Join a team of software engineers responsible for the integration, design and implementation of products that are recognized world wide. We are looking for very sharp, personable people with excellent customer facing skills and experience. You will be designing, prototyping, implementing, testing and troubleshooting product features in a Microsoft environment.
Required experience:
- BS in CS, Math or Engineering (Advanced degree is preferred)
- 5+ years in a Microsoft environment, using C/C++, C#, .Net, ASP.Net as well as AJAX and JavaScript
- Object oriented programming, analysis and design for Windows based UI and Web development
- Electric Utility Industry experience
- GIS (Geographic Information Systems) including Virtual Earth, Google Maps, ESRI ArcGIS, MapGuide (used for computer mapping and image processing)
- Cloud Computing/SaaS (Software as a Service) web based applications
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Maya or any other CAD applications
Important pluses:
- Knowledge of Spline and higher order surface mathematics, and computational geometry
- Knowledge of modern cloud computing environments, such as Amazon AWS
- Experience with COM/ActiveX or Microsoft Visual C++
- Working knowledge of MFC and Win32 SDK is a plus.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD application development (ADS, ARX, VBA, AutoLISP) and/or graphics experience preferred
- Experience in 3D modeling is a plus
