Art Specialist/Character Artist
Our Client’s Gaming Studios is in need of a motivated, talented and experienced Character Artist for a rare opportunity to join a seasoned, creatively driven team on an exciting next-generation project.
Responsibilities:
- Creating high quality 3D characters, clothing, props and items.
- Producing both high-res and low-res characters, character components and props.
- Painting and generating high quality texture maps and materials.
- Building assets that conforms to the technical guidelines of the target platform.
- Seeking feedback from peers and leads.
- Participating in meetings and reviews, as part of effective communication with the team.

Job Requirements:
Required Skills for this Art Specialist position includes the following:
- Proven track record creating high quality 3D characters, clothing, props and items in a broad range of visual styles.
- Well versed in programs, such as 3DS Max, Maya, or XSI, Mudbox, Zbrush and Photoshop.
- Strong facility in 3D modeling and texturing and deliver high quality assets within guidelines set by Leads/Directors.
- Excellent understanding of human anatomy and color theory.
- Communicate and collaborate well with Development teams.
