Meridian Engineering, Inc. is a full service engineering, surveying and right of way firm headquartered in Salt Lake City (West Jordan), Utah. We are currently offering employment opportunities for CAD Technicians and/or Civil/Survey Designers for our office in Salt Lake City.
Civil/Survey Designers:
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 3 years experience. An EIT is preferred or a 2-year degree in an engineering or surveying related field. Candidate must be competent in Microstation XM or greater and use Bentley Inroads Suite XM. Must be able to layout and prepare site plans, various construction drawings related to roadways and utilities (plan and profiles), drainage plans, plot surveys, prepare subdivision plats and assist in preparing boundary plats and/or right of way documents.
CAD Technician:
Successful applicants will have 2 years experience in civil engineering and survey related drafting. Candidate must be competent in Microstation XM or greater and use Bentley Inroads Suite XM. Must be able to layout and prepare various construction drawings related to roadways and utilities (plan and profiles), drainage plans, plot surveys, prepare subdivision plats and assist in preparing boundary plats and/or right of way documents. Typical projects will include the processing of survey notes into topographic maps, utility layouts, roadway profiling, and site plan layouts and redline, drafting support.
Meridian runs AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009 and 2010 and Microstation XM as our primary design and drafting programs.
